Representatives of  Bosnia & Herzegovina Railway and Railway of Republika Srpska discussed the possibility of joint-service offering with Serbian Railways, in order to come to the transport market with a competitive price offer.
HŽ Cargo and Railways of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will enhance cooperation in order to speed freight rail traffic from the port of PloÄe, and will launch an initiative to rebuild additional tracks.
PKP Cargo intends to purchase new locomotives this year, which will increase the possibility of expansion beyond the Polish borders. The freight operator has 331 million zł net cash and any additional funds for investment can easily be obtained through the credit accorded by the European Investment Bank.
