Cross-border rail traffic was established after more than 20 years on the Đurmanec – Rogatec line

Six kilometers long section of the railway line from Đurmanec to Rogatec, re-opened to traffic after more than 20 years, and in this way restored railway traffic between Croatia and Slovenia. Opening ceremony of the renovated railroad was attended by the Croatian Minister of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure Siniša Hajdas Dončić and Slovenian Minister of Economic Development and Technology Zdravko Počivalšek.

Railroad is renewed by HŽ Infrastruktura, and the cost of the complete works was 42.5 million KN.
