Croatian MEPs supported the project ACROSSEE

On 11 November 2014 the European Parliament in Brussels held the last workshop as part of the EU project ACROSSEE. The aim of the workshop was to assemble representatives of the EU Parliament and the European Commission and inform them of the achievements of the project. With its active participation workshop was supported by Croatian MEPs Jozo Rados (HNS) and Ivan Jakovcic (IDS), and representatives of the Association for the railways as one of the partners in the project.

Project ACROSSEE coming to an end, and the project has achieved most of its own planned objectives. The workshop addressed the gathering representative in the EU Parliament Michael Cramer from Germany, also the president of TRAN, the Committee on Transport and Tourism. In his introductory remarks he clearly emphasized the importance of creating a cross-border connectivity, infrastructure, but primarily by better organization of transport because they are the key ones for better connecting countries and citizens.
