RZD International has started reconstruction works on 18.5 km long Sopot Kosmajski – Kovacevac railway section, part of Corridor 10. The project is financed under Annex 2 of the Contract on Russian State Loan for the reconstruction and modernization of the six sections of Corridor 10.

Končar KEV delivers first production EMU to HŽ PP

Končar KEV delivered its first series built Class 6112 multiple-unit to national passenger operator HŽ PP following test running on the Zagreb Podsused Tvornica – Tovarnik line.

Končar began developing the EMU in 2008, with the aim of targeting the rail operators in former Yugoslavia. A prototype was sold to Bosnian operator ŽFBH, and in 2011 regional and suburban prototypes were delivered to HŽ PP.
