Gallery “In the lobby” presents an exhibition “Railway in the eyes of an enthusiast”

On Thursday, April 21st at 6 PM, there is an opening of the “Railway in the eyes of an enthusiast” exhibition. The exhibition will be held in the Gallery “In the lobby”, which is placed in the administrative building og HŽ Infrastructure in Zagreb, Mihanovićeva street 12. Authors od all exhibited photographs are members of the zeljeznice.net forum, and the photographs were chosen by Ante Klečina i Toma Bačić. You may expect a wide range of rail related motives, which in it’s variety is trying to present the possibilities of railway photography.

Forum zeljeznice.net is active for more than ten years, and gathers dozens of active railway photography enthusiasts. When it began the forum gathered only a few active members, but the number of photographs grew with time, and it reeled in more interested people which started doing amateur railway photography. Forum zeljeznice.net quickly became a platform for railway photography in Croata, and the region. There you could discuss railway photography, its technical or creative components, which could serve as an incentive to start doing photography.

Simbolicly, the opening of this exhibition is on the 156.th anniversary of the first Croatian railway track.

The exhibit is a product of collaboration between HŽ Infrastructure, Pro-rail Alliance and the Rail enthusiasts Club.
