Modernisation of Prague-Munich rail connection, worth 6 million EUR

The Bavarian National Assembly has allocated EUR 6 million for the modernisation of the railway line connecting Munich to Prague, via Plzeň. The Bavarian State Minister of the Interior, Building and Transport, Joachim Herrmann during his meeting with his Czech counterpart Dan Ťok, informed that the funding will be used for the electrification of the railway line Regensburg – Schwandorf – Furth im Wald – state border.
