Commission for Railways approved the continuation of financing the purchase of new trains for HŽPP

Session of the Commission for the Railways, which was chaired by Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic, was held on Friday at the government headquarters. After the session, the Minister of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure Siniša Hajdas Dončić said that the Commission confirmed and approved the continuation of financing the purchase of new trains for HŽPP.

New timetable starts with 14th of December

Deutsche Bahn announces five-year infrastructure spending plan worth 28 billion euros

EIB loans €600m to ÖBB

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has issued a €600 million loan to finance a raft of renewal works across the Austrian rail network.

Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) will use the money to complete a programme of upgrades in 2017, including track renewals, signalling and telecommunications projects, station improvements, bridges, level crossings and power systems.
